WooCommerce webshops with Hungarian invoicing and pickup points.

Invoicing that runs on its own.

When an order is paid, the invoice is created automatically and sent to the buyer. For Számlázz.hu the most used plugin is Viszt Péter's "Számlázz.hu integráció WooCommerce-hez", with 7,000+ active installs; invoicing triggered by order status is in its PRO version.¹ For Billingo, Billingo's own plugin has 3,000+ installs.² We set up and test either one. If neither fits your process, we write a custom integration, as we did with Amelia × Számlázz.hu.

Pickup points and home delivery.

Buyers pick a pickup point on a map: MPL Postapont, Foxpost, Packeta, GLS, Express One, DPD or Sameday. Viszt Péter's "Csomagpontok és Címkék" plugin handles all of them in one place; label printing is in its PRO version.³ GLS, Packeta and Foxpost also offer their own free plugins.⁴ We've already built GLS shipping into a client shop.

Online withdrawal function.

Since 19 June 2026 every webshop needs an online form labelled "elállás a szerződéstől", available for the whole withdrawal period, with a button labelled "elállás megerősítése". Receipt must be confirmed on a durable medium without delay.⁵ An email address or a clause in the terms is no longer enough.⁶

14-day withdrawal right.

For goods it runs from delivery; refunds are due within 14 days, by the same payment method.⁷

Company details and terms.

Company name, seat, email, registration and VAT numbers, and the hosting provider's details; downloadable terms; and an electronic order confirmation.⁸

Cookie consent.

Non-essential cookies need prior consent, and "Reject all" must be as easy as "Accept all".⁹

Accessibility, unless you're a microenterprise.

Since 28 June 2025 Hungary's accessibility law covers consumer webshops. Service providers with fewer than 10 staff and turnover or balance sheet up to €2 million are exempt.¹⁰

After launch.

In a shop, an update can break the checkout. WooCommerce itself says not to test updates on the live site, and to place a test order afterwards.¹¹ Our WordPress maintenance package runs updates and off-site backups on a schedule. An optional automated testing add-on, which checks that orders, emails and forms still work after updates, is coming soon.
