Slowburn

Terms of Use & End User License Agreement

Effective: 25 September 2026

Zero tolerance. Slowburn has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that breaks these Terms is removed and the users who post it are removed from Slowburn, normally within 24 hours of a report.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and nStudio (Nagy Tamás, Hungary, nstudio.hu; “we”, “us”) and govern your use of the Slowburn mobile app and service (“Slowburn”). They are also the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the app. By creating an account you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Slowburn.

2. Who can use Slowburn

3. Objectionable content: what is not allowed

You are responsible for everything you post, including your name, bio, interests, photos and messages. You must not post, send or upload anything that:

You must also not use Slowburn for any commercial purpose, create accounts by automated means, scrape the service, attempt to access other users’ data, or interfere with the app’s security or operation.

4. Abusive users: zero tolerance

We do not tolerate abusive behaviour of any kind, in the app or when meeting in person. Any user who harasses, threatens, scams or otherwise abuses other users will be permanently removed from Slowburn and may be reported to the authorities.

5. How we enforce these rules

To reach us directly about abuse, email [email protected]. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

6. Your content and licence to us

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and transmit that content solely to operate Slowburn and show it to other users as the app is designed to. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups (which expire) and content retained for safety as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Safety when meeting people

We do not run criminal background checks or verify the identity of users beyond the age check at sign-up, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the app. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, never send money to someone you met on Slowburn, and report anyone who makes you feel unsafe.

8. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Slowburn app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute or sell the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

Apple App Store. If you downloaded Slowburn from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and nStudio only, not Apple. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”, apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), and where these Terms and the Standard EULA conflict on the licence to the app, the Standard EULA prevails. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: the Me tab → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect other users. Sections 6 (to the extent stated), 10 and 11 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Slowburn is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that you will find a match, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of other users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer living in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in your local courts.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, ask you to accept the new Terms in the app before continuing to use Slowburn.
