Cossy — Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 2026-09-09

Cossy ("we", "us") is a cosplay social community operated by nstudio, Hungary. We are committed to protecting children and have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation, as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

Our zero-tolerance stance

We strictly prohibit, and act against, any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or abuses children, including:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
  • Grooming, sextortion, solicitation, or trafficking of minors.
  • Sexualisation of minors, including in cosplay or costume content.
  • Any other content or conduct that endangers children.

Minimum age

Cossy is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users must confirm they are at least 13 when creating an account. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use Cossy, and we remove accounts found to belong to under-13 users.

How users can report child safety concerns

Any user can report content or an account directly in the app:

  • Tap the ⋯ / Report option on any post, profile, or message.
  • Choose the reason (including child safety / CSAE) and submit.

How we respond

  • We review child safety reports as a priority and remove violating content.
  • We suspend or permanently ban accounts involved in CSAE.
  • Where we become aware of apparent CSAM, we preserve the relevant data and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate authorities in the relevant jurisdiction, as required by law.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement in investigations of child endangerment.

Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where Cossy is available, and we align our practices with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable CSAE reporting obligations.
